Світоглядні витоки й орієнтири шкільного громадянознавства у Великій Британії

У статті визначені роль і місце навчального предмета «Громадянознавство» в Національному курикулумі Великої Британії. Розглянуті історичні передумови й сучасні чинники формування наріжних світоглядних концептів громадянської освіти британської молоді. Розглянуті головні вектори змін у цій галузі педагогічної діяльності.
В статье определены место и роль учебного предмета «Граждановедение» в Нацинальном курикулуме Великобритании. Рассмотрены исторические предпосылки и современые факторы формирования основополагающих мировоззренческих концептов гражданского образования британських школьников. Рассмотрены ведущие векторы изменений в этой отрасли педагогической деятельности.
The article shows the place and role of education for citizenship curriculum at British schools. Both historical background and modern factors of forming main worldview concepts in British education for citizenship have been presented. Main trends in changing this educational branch have been demonstrated.
