У статті проаналізовано Мельбурнську модель навчальних планів для вищих навчальних закладів. Розглянуто процес її виникнення, впровадження та попередні результати. Встановлено, що Мельбурнська модель відповідає за структурою Болонській системі та навчальним планам університетів Північної Америки. Доведено, що основними ознаками Мельбурнської моделі є загальна освіта на рівні бакалавра, поєднання «широти» та «глибини» знань, у ній також сильно виражений міжнародний аспект.
В статье проанализирована Мельбурнская модель учебных планов. Рассмотрен процесс ее возникновения, внедрения и предварительные результаты. Установлено, что Мельбурнская модель соответствует Болонской системе и учебным планам университетов Северной Америки. Доказано, что основными признаками мельбурнской модели является общее образование на уровне бакалавра, сочетание «широты» и «глубины» знаний, сильно выраженный международный аспект.
The article is devoted to the Melbourne Model of curriculum. Its emergence, implementation, and preliminary results are analyzed. It is found out that the Melbourne model is attuned to the structure of the Bologna process and curriculum of universities in North America. It is proved that the main features of the Melbourne Model are liberal education at undergraduate level, the combination of «breadth» and «depth» of knowledge, it also represents the international approach to curriculum.
